There is a 2 minutes break between the first and the second quarter, and then again between the third and the fourth quarter.

The playing time in an NBA basketball game is 48 minutes. Teams play for four quarters which are 12 minutes long each.
The duration of the breaks is the same as FIBA basketball, i.e. 2 minutes between the first and second, and then the third and fourth quarters. NBA games also have a 15-minutes long halftime.
